Italy In Bocca is one of the world’s rarest, funkiest, weirdest cardboard bound cookbooks, and their recipe for the Milanese cutlet, or cotoletta alla Milanese, is a winner and super simple to do. This is something that Peter and I love, and have gone to Milan specifically to do “cutlet crawls” to see which restaurant does it the best. We are not chefs, but we have eaten more cutlets between us then most people in the Tri-State area being fat kids from Queens, and all we can say is that we nailed it.
The ingredients you will need are good pork chops, eggs, breadcrumbs, and a truck load of butter. The salad up top is recommended to help you feel a bit better about yourself for eating several sticks of butter. Full details on the site below.
We hope you like the series In Bocca, we shot it the very day before the quarantine and edited it during the shut down. It was made out of love for food, for these books, and for the country that has inspired and given us so much, Italy. Hopefully they will recover soon from this horrible pandemic, and if you would like to help or find out more about the project and what we’re all about, then hop over to:
