How to Cook the Traditional Italian Tomato Sauce/ Sauce Tomate Italienne

Welcome to Universality Cuisine.
Today we are making the Famous Traditional Italian Tomato Sauce that goes with all Italian dishes. It’s so simple and fast to make and requires very little ingredients.

Here are the Ingredients ;
1kg of fresh Tomatoes (finely diced)
1 large red Onion ( finely diced)
Garlic ( not much)
About 4 Peperoncino ( Bird’s eye chilli can do)
30ml of olive oil ( you can replace with any other cooking oil if you don’t like olive oil )
Salt and pepper to taste

Method and Preparation

1. In a pot , add garlic. Add the onions and cook for about 2 to 3 mins . Cook on medium heat.
2. Add the tomatoes in the pot and stir . Close the pot and let it simmer for 3 mins .
3. Add the Peperoncino and cook for another 5 mins .
4. Add salt and pepper to taste

Your Traditional Italian Tomatoes Sauce is ready.
Serve with Italian Style Spaghetti
And sprinkle Parmigiano-Reggiano ( Parmesan cheese ) on it… Any cheese can do

Of course you can serve with pasta or any other dish. It’s not limited to Spaghetti or pasta or rice .
