How to Cook Spaghetti the Italian way (Al dente)/ Comment cuire les Spaghetti

Welcome to Universality Cuisine.
Today you will Make Spaghetti the Italian Style ( Al dente ). It’s so simple and fast.

The ingredients you need are ;
500g Spaghetti ( Preferably made from 100% durum wheat)
About 3L of water
2 teaspoons of olive oil or any oil.
3 teaspoons of Salt

Method and Preparation

1. In a pot , add 3L of water or more and let to boil.
2. When the water start to boil, add 3 teaspoon of Salt
3. Add the Spaghetti in the boiled without breaking it. Boil at high heat.
4. Stir it gradually to ensure the spaghetti doesn’t stick to each other .
5. Boil until it’s “Al dente” ( it means cooked to be firm to the bite. That should be ready in 15 to 20 mins .
6. Drain the Spaghetti and add 1 or 2 teaspoon of oil in the Spaghetti and gently mix. This prevents the Spaghetti to stick to each other .

Your Italian boiled Style Spaghetti is ready.
Serve with a Homemade Traditional Italian Tomato Sauce .
And sprinkle Parmigiano-Reggiano ( Parmesan cheese ) on it… Any cheese can do
Of course you can serve with any sauce of your choice.
