How To Prepare Authentic Italian Puttanesca Sauce for Seafood Pasta

COMPLETE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
For cooking the pasta:
salt & water
1/2 lb pasta (good for 2 people)

3 tbsp oil
1 anchovy (salted fish)
3 cloves minced garlic
1 or 2 chilli pepper
600 grams mussels
1 can (398ml) tomato sauce.
1 tbsp marinated capers
handful of fresh parsley leaves
salt & pepper to taste

PREPARATION
Pour water on a big pot one third below the rim. Bring to boil then add 3 tablespoon salt.
Add the the pasta, cook for 12 minutes or until “al dente” or almost cooked.

In a pan, sautee anchovy & garlic over extra virgin olive oil.
Add chilli & mussels. Cover and cook for 15 seconds .
Then remove the cover; add the tomato sauce & the capers. Mix well.
Now add the pasta and cook for another minute.
Serve & granish with fresh chopped parsley.
