KLM LOng Haul Flight Review. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Economy Class Flight Review (Tripreport). This is a Flight Review of our Long Haul KLM Economy Class – KLM Coach – flight from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam Schiphol onboard a KLM Boeing 777 aircraft.
The video covers flight aspects such as the time we spent at Kuala Lumpur Airport, Boarding of our KLM Flight to Amsterdam, a walk through the aircraft where we pass through the KLM Economy Comfort Cabin, a view of our seats in the KLM Economy Class Cabin, a look at the blankets and pillow presented to all Economy Class KLM passengers, a look at KLM´s Inflight Entertainment System (showing inflight movies, inflight TV programs, inflight children´s entertainment etc), Inflight drinks (complimentary drinks throughout the flight including alcoholic drinks), Inflight Meals including dinner and breakfast, KLM Snackbox (complimentary snacks throughout the flight), a KLM Amenity Kit for all Economy Class Passengers (the kit included a toothbrush & toothpaste, an eye mask, ear plugs, cashew nuts and a bottle of water) a view of the KLM Boeing 777 Galley and the KLM Boeing 777 Lavatory. We also include footage of us boarding and disembarking this KLM Flight from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam Schiphol and of course the takeoff at Kuala Lumpur and landing at Amsterdam are also included in this video.
OUR IMPRESSIONS OF KLM ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES:
– The cabin crew onboard this flight were friendly, professional and very efficient. We were particularly happy with how quickly they collected our trays after we had finished our meals.
– The inflight food and drink service was good. We very much appreciated the Amenity Kit which contained a bottle of water to drink as soon as we reached our seat. We also enjoyed the complimentary snackbox. We would however have preferred a hot dinner as apposed to the Wrap we were served.
– The legroom on this flight was acceptable. Those of us taller than 6 Foot would however always appreciate “A Little More Space!”
– The Inflight Entertainment System had a good selection of movies. We did wish that it had a touchscreen functionality like the more modern IFE´s we have had on other airlines. The map system was slow and the text language was difficult to control (the text was often Chinese).
VERDICT:
We enjoyed this flight from start to end. The efficient, smiley and friendly crew members made it a pleasure to be on board this aircraft. The meal service was satisfactory and the little extras such as the Amenity Kit and Complimentary Snackbox helped make this a “memorable” flight. We would happily fly a Long-haul Route with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines again.
