  1. Frog legs are pretty good. Fine grain, kind of like fish but a bird quality like chicken, also. Snails are awesome. I'd eat them regularly if I could afford them. Not a huge offal fan. Brains are meh, liver is ok, never had a thymus before. Tripe is probably my fav part of unusual parts. Trotters and the face, well, I wouldn't eat them the way THEY prepared them, gross, you need to make them crispy and render a shit ton of the fat out of them, otherwise it's just a big, gelatinous, clusterfuck. Fun vid.

  2. As a highschooler in drama club, we performed Shrek the musical, hear me out lol, and we had a banquet dinner after the show to celebrate. Our schools chef at the time prepared blooming onions along with a ton of other shrek themed food but out of everyting, she prepared frog legs, which no teen in our backwoods upstate ny town had ever had before, and i still think about that meal like once a month bare minimum. thankfully she moved onto a job where her culinary skills were very much valued. just had to share a nice memory this reminded me of <3

  3. That looks delicious. Escargots though, I prefer when they are in a sizzling platter without the shell, makes it easier to eat and also you get all the green sauce that way. Miam miam

  4. White people – "Asia is so disgusting they eat everything that moves"
Meanwhile in France – "Frog legs yum SNAILS yum yum"
Me – I'm southeast Asian and I'm PROUDLY disgusted of these kinds of foods. Glands from a cow? NO THANKS. I'd rather stick to pork or beef or just chicken. And I've been to Europe and tasted their BLAND food. I was never impressed by WHITE MAN food.

    Edit – 8:36 DISGUSTING

  5. I'm sure much of this is very good food and i know the french cuisine is highly respected but i doubt i will ever be a fan of it

  6. How dare ya brah 😤 KFC mash is the shiznit I'm bout throw my phone asnd spill my Mtn Dew 🤣

  7. it's common food in my place asia, sometimes i eat snile with mayonaise + tomato sauce. but i never eat frog because some of them is deadly poison species. well it can go wrong with frog

  8. Come on guys…leave us alone now with snails and frog legs., and things you anyway never find in the restaurants in France…No one is eating this except you…….go and buy you a sausage or a steak…

  9. This guy eats frogs legs faster than me and the frog can react

And snails. No one can react except garlic

  10. Okay guys. I am French and I will restore the truth about many things.

Most French people do not eat these dishes. These restaurants serve good products but they are too mutch expensive. The restaurants in this vidéo have a good recipes but we are not going to eat in this kind of place every day.

And Paris is absolutely not the most beautiful city in France, it becomes dirty and dangerous.

There are many things to see in this city but much more to discover elsewhere in France.

Paris is closer to African culture in some places than French culture.

  11. It's a bit nitpicking, but At 2.02 that's not the location of the Thymus but the Thyroid. The Thymus is actually situated lower, behind the sternum.

  12. Now you have to come back in France and try other bizarre dishes : « langue de boeuf » (beef’s tongue salad), « andouillette » (grilled sausage made with tripes), « tablier de sapeur » (deep fried stomach), « tête de veau » (veal’s head), « pieds paqués » (lambs’ feet in tomato sauce) or « rognons de veau » (grilled veal’s kidneys)… there’s so many of them – and we french people almost never eat them : it’s pasta & pizza like anywhere !

  13. People in the south part of America liked frog legs…! My mom eats smoothed liver. You sure you're from the US? Everything so surprising to you.

  14. Le pied de cochon se mange avec une fourchette et un couteau pas avec les doigts !!! 😂. On est pas aux États Unis ici !!

  15. God, you had me at "gooey slimy snail". Of course my mum will have the horrors because that stems from eating them raw out of the coal box when I was a kid.. but hey, they're better with garlic. My palate has developed.

  16. So French also eat with their bare hands
As Asian, I will use this excuse everytime western people make fun of our eating habit 😂

  17. I will never get why rich people cuisine mostly consists of stuff that no sane human being would consider to eat if it wasn't for their survival.
Like the pig feet looked like mostly fat, cartilage and bones… can't imagine it to fill your stomach and also the mouth feeling can't be that good either as meat shouldn't feel "gummy" same goes for the snout.
The snails I had before, they don't taste like much besides the spiced butter you serve them with and are somewhat chewy and not pleasant to the eye.

The liver and the frog legs I would try.

  18. I'm french and i will never eat those things 😀 Be aware that is bizarre for french too, french don't eat that generally

  19. Noticed they use lots of butter. The pig dishes were not the most appetizing sorry.
