Ingredients:
1 packet of Basa
Half cup of Milk
12-13 cloves of Garlic
10 Tablespoon of Fresh Cream
Paprika
Chili Flakes/ Red Chili Powder
Basil
Italian Herbs
Oregano
Butter
Half Slice of Lemon
Salt
Preparation:
Marinate the Basa Fillets with Half a Lemon and salt and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
In a pan, melt 2 tablespoon of Butter and add the chopped garlic cloves till the flavour comes out.
Add a teaspoon of Italian herbs, oregano, paprika, chiliflakes, basil(i have added dried basil here),salt as per taste and a pinch of sugar to balance the flavour.
Add the marinated basa into the mix. Be careful while adding the basa fillets as after marination the fish becomes softer.
Add the orange juice(the juice has been freshly squeezed from 2 oranges and strained to avoid the pulp and the seeds) and cook till the fish is properly cooked.
In a separate pan, add 1 teaspoon of Butter and half cup of milk and stir well.
Add the cream, a pinch of salt and sugar and keep on stirring.
A bit of italian herbs can also be added into the mix but that is optional.
Pour the cooked fish into a serving bowl and add the cream mix from the top.
Garnish with orange and orange rind.
