Looks very tasty and I love these kind of almost mythical origin stories
That looks so good.
You're doing a tour of Italy man?
Incredible that Argentina has their own (brought by Italians) versión and we double stack a slice of Faina (how it's called) with regular pizza. Match made in heaven
Dude with the red apron on has a fatty and he is cute af
No. It's from Liguria
Love your videos!
Will you ever tour France or Germany?
😮😮
We have the same thing in algerian under a few names: garantita, kalantika or karantika🇩🇿
In Argentina we call that faina and it's done exactly that way, and you are supposed to grab a slice of pizza 🍕 and a slice of faina, stack them and eat them.
Bona la torta di ceci!
@PastaGrammar just recently posted how to make this. Check it out if you want to try it at home!
What a lyrical way of speaking!!! Just like the food.
Esiste anche un'altra ricetta che si chiama farinata ed è quella di cavolo nero, in Toscana è più facile trovare la farinata di ceci con il nome di cecina, cinque e cinque o torta di ceci. Il nome cambia a seconda della provincia.
Amazing! So simple and what an awesome story behind it. I hope I can get to Italy to try this someday.
Beautiful
We call it "fainá" over here in Uruguay, we eat it with pizza (both mozzarella pizza or straight regular sauce pizza), our pizza is closer to what you guys know as Sicilian style pizza. Most folk here prefer the border crunchier sides (we call it 'de orillo' which translates to border) and some folk prefer the more bready/thicker bits of the middle (we call it 'del medio' which translates to 'center part'). Some fancier modern versions have included caramelized onions, pesto and spanish ham as toppings for fainá: delicious, but traditional is even better. Enjoy it if you got the chance.
Loving these captions man, keep it up!
I know this is probably cliche at this point, but you’re one of the best to ever do it
Brava robè parli italiano, inglese, spagnolo…

"You got your salt in my chickpea flour!" "You got your chickpea flour in my salt!" Farinata – two great tastes that taste great together.
I made fried sausage and rigatoni cost me 7 dollars to feed 4
