We Found THE MOST Magical Airbnb in Positano, Italy (From Host to Guest)



Exploring Positano has been on our bucket list for years, and this year we made it happen! We’ve been traveling across Italy, learning from Airbnb hosts in Rome, hotels in Florence, Tuscany, and now the stunning Positano on the Amalfi Coast.

Our adventure started with a scenic journey from Florence to Salerno, followed by a boat ferry to Positano. The views were breathtaking, and our charming Airbnb, Casa Claudious, offered an incredible Mediterranean Sea vista. Dining at Il Fornillo, a local favorite recommended by our host, was magical. We also visited the TikTok/Instagram-famous Arienzo Beach Club, enjoying a day of luxury and a delicious lunch.

A highlight was our day trip to Pompeii, where a private tour deepened our understanding of Roman history. Back in Positano, we indulged in gelato, shopped at the stylish CB by Kore Positano, and enjoyed a delightful lunch at Ristorante Mediterraneo Positano, followed by cocktails at L’Incanto Ocean Bar.

Our four days in Positano were filled with history, relaxation, and adventure, creating unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to bring these insights back to our Airbnb in Joshua Tree and continue learning from hosts worldwide. Stay tuned for more ‘From Host to Guest’ adventures!

    I went to Positano the first week of May and wish I could have stayed longer. My hotel was on the pyramid cliff called Hotel Reginella and had a very nice view. I would love to go back someday and stay longer than 3 days.

    We toured Sicily in 2022 and I had the same thought, I did not want to leave. So in 2023 I bought a run down villa, restored it and moved my family there. We also have an Airbnb on property which is almost ready for this summer.

    Great series but here’s the thing, those apartments are meant for locals and hotels are meant for visitors. Expect local authorities to change the licensing laws in the coming years.

    Now this is a great video/channel. A couple reasons: I live in Hawaii so I see a lot of travel videos- Done almost entirely by travelers not locals. I think most people would appreciate a “locals” insight. What a twist! Air B n B hosts giving travel from their perspective! Fantastic!     these air bnbs are forcing locals to move out of there city because houses are not available please stay in hotels this type of tourism is destroying italy and neighbouring countries

    Sorry for your idea of the bus to positano we did that several years and several times took the bus and it was fantastic road you dont see much from the sea you dont see the whole road and not the bful gardens and gorgeous homes of the steep hill ..its true – its crowded , lots of turists ..

    Such a beautiful video! I wish all tourists were as classy as you guys! I'm an American and have been living in Italy for the last 35 years and Positano has always been my favorite summer destinatin. This year I've decided to stay home, the mass tourisms has ruined most beautiful places in Italy, Positano being the most painful one for me. The "Instagram" tourists (mostly American) are ignorant, loud, disrespectful to the environment and plain nasty!
