  1. I'd take out that half wall and make the kitchen and living one big room, then run the kitchen down the side wall.

  2. Fantastic. Knock the lounge wall down. Put mirrors wherever the natural daylight bounces to reflect a lot more light then you can spread the kitchen a bit more with a round table between kitchen and lounge and a lounge area. Was the cupboard on top of the sink a draining rack? I love those. Put your wet washing up in the cupboard and shut the door.

  3. I find myself wondering what they covered up by applying those very odd shiny/industrial wall tiles in the bedroom/laundry room, and the industrial type panels in the lounge room are singularly unattractive to me. Odd choices.

  4. If you do find a better place for that washing machine..you can extend the bathroom into that space and make a dedicated shower and just close it off on the bedroom side.

  5. I could see opening up that whole space. Make it more of a studio space and create a nook in the left corner to place the bed and then the whole area in the middle and right side could be combined kitchen/living and maybe even make the bathroom a little bigger and put the washing machine in there. Then you could make that star vaulting more of a feature of the space while right now it is very cut up.

  6. Because of the nice ceilings, I would take that wall out between the kitchen and the lounge and make it an open concept and don’t use the fireplace. I don’t know what you do with that.

  7. My first kitchen only had a sink base and oven stove and refrigerator and three doors. No place for a table I cooked just fine.

  8. I’d take down the dividing wall, build the kitchen along the left wall, and make a feature of the fireplace corner. Things like the washer in the bedroom bother me less and less with every video I watch! I LOVE IT!

  9. I like the wall, but I would top it with about 4 rows of glass block and add a ceiling fan in the lounge, get rid of that huge couch and replace it with a sofa bed and loveseat

  10. Every time i see these homes i am so excited for my daughter and her future husbands future. This is small but very affordable for a wedding gift for them and so nice to buy her something in her and her Dads ancestral lands of Italy. Grazi!! ❤🎉

  11. It’s all on one level and would be perfect for an affordable, ready to move in small home.

  12. About the fire place, I saw where someone left the fireplace facade but put a cooktop and oven there. It looked super nice.

  13. Most definitely more beautiful and functional as an open studio apartment without the division wall that takes away from the charm of the vaulting

  14. Excellent little property. I'd definitely remove that internal wall, reconfigure the kitchen and integrate the washing machine, and move the shower to the corner of the bathroom with a glass panel. Remove those tiles. For the asking price, it's all very doable.

  15. I would take down the half wall and remove the fireplace. Put in a new kitchen and a new bathroom. I would also replace the bidet with a larger shower. For 18,000 that is all doable with a small budget.

  16. The kitchen and lounge room wall down, new kitchen, new bathroom, expose the beautiful ceilings and this can be someone affordable home in Italy 🇮🇹 ❤

  17. Those look like great acoustic / sound proofing panels in the lounge room. Brilliant! Get rid of fireplace, put in electronic / gas fireplace for less maintenance and more room perhaps?… Rearrange kitchen. Kitchen, dining / lounge open concept is definitely a thought. Can do without eating table, maybe a fold down counter to use as work space when needed. Interesting little place. Kind of nice actually. Interesting bathroom.

  18. I would take the wall out between the kitchen and the lounge room and make the kitchen, dining area and living room all one room.
