    2.5 dl onion
    2.5 dl carrot
    2.5 dl celery
    4 cloves of garlic
    1 red chili
    400 ml meat broth
    1 can of crushed tomatoes
    1 tablespoon tomato puree
    1 sprig thyme
    1 sprig rosemary
    3 bay leaves
    Salt and pepper

    Mashed potatoes
    2 kg floury potatoes
    150 g of butter
    50 g parmesan
    2.5 dl cream
    2.5 dl milk
    Salt

    Do this:
    Take out a large oven-safe deeper pan/saucepan. Turn on the oven on medium heat.

    Brown the meat on medium heat in the pan on both sides and season with salt and pepper. Lift the meat aside.

    Add chopped onion, garlic, carrot and celery and cook until soft, about 7-10 minutes. Add tomato puree and fry a little more for about 1-2 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, stock, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf and mix before adding the meat back in.

    Set the oven to 150 degrees and cook until the meat is tender, for about 4-5 hours.

    Season with salt and pepper and remove the sprigs of thyme, rosemary and bay leaves.

    Serve with mashed potatoes, Parmesan & parsley. Enjoy!
