We have visited Montepulciano three times. It is our favorite Italian village. In this video we take a day trip from Rome to the medieval hill top town of Montepulciano in Tuscany Italy. It took about 1 1/2 hours by car to get to get from Rome to Montepulciano.
We will show you Michelin guide dining, a winery tour and the best views. Not to mention the beautiful architecture.
First we had a wine tasting and winery tour at Villa Sant Anna. We tasted four wines and their olive oil. They were all delicious.
We had lunch at the BEST restaurant in Italy. Le Logge del Vignola, which is in the Michelin guide. The restaurant is small but beautiful. The food is amazing the service is exceptional!
