Love love this…
What a fantastic lineup! Love how you’ve curated such a diverse range of Italian gems, and all at incredible price points! The G.D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo and the Tommasi Rafael Valpolicella Classico Superiore are familiar faces to me, but I’m excited to hunt down and try the others as well, especially Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico and Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino. I’m also very interested in the Ferrari Brut Sparkling Wine Trentino Alto-Adige and Inama Vigneti di Foscarino Soave. Okay, I’m actually going to start searching for all of them now.😂 Your recommendations hit every note, and I’m looking forward to tracking them down. Thank you for always creating videos that showcase excellent wines that are so approachable and budget-friendly, John. I truly and greatly appreciate your insights, impressions, and evaluation as well as the impressive visual support in this video. Can’t wait to grab a few of these!
Thank you so much for the pin, John! Sincerely appreciated!
Barolo costs 90$ .
Such a good channel. Great mix of luxury, mid-shelf, and affordable “Tuesday Night Drinkers”.
Some good recommendations, John. Langhe Nebbiolo is a steal; I only have one bottle left, so need to replenish. I also enjoy Valpol Ripasso from time to time. Soave, apart from when visiting the Veneto, doesn't do a lot for me. Soave town is lovely, if you haven't been. The Ferrari sparkling is definitely worth a purchase.
I took my one and only bottle of 2012 Amarone round for dinner to friends last Saturday; it was delicious but it remains, like Gewurztraminer, an occasional pleasure for me.
Incidentally, my TCA sensitivity returned this weekend – with a Muscadet. My wife could detect nothing untoward but it was undrinkable to me. It doesn't happen often but it is annoying when it does.
Nice garden, btw.
Try Bandol wines…theyre overlooked all the time but they can be super interesting…
I visited Biserno a few years ago. Had a delicious lunch with wine tasting with a Hungarian woman;-)
