My Bucket List just got bigger! Thank you 😊
Great information here, and will help me plan our trip to the region next year!
So many special new places to explore. Thanks as always for your excellent content. You've introduced me to so many great wines. We visited Chianti earlier this year and had a great experience at Castello di Fonterutoli… exceeded expectations : )
Tuscany is one of my favorite places to visit, too! Beautiful introduction, gorgeous captures, and excellent narratives about each of the wineries—this video is making me seriously miss Tuscany. I love that it’s based on your personal experiences and research, actually traveling to those wineries, discovering their cellars and library wines, and tasting their outstanding wines firsthand. Castello di Ama, Fontodi, Il Molino di Grace, Lamole di Lamole, and Brolio would be my top priorities from among these wineries but I would love to visit the others as well. There are so many takeaways here, and I love all the anecdotes and stories, the manual harvest scene, the fact that the Sangiovese you picked will be part of the 2024 Chianti Classico, the picturesque views and stunning captures, and the excellent production of this video. I will definitely use this as my guide for my return trip to Tuscany. Thank you, John!
Another great video John. Looks like you had an incredible trip and tasted some fantastic wine!
I am very impressed by your selection. I started visiting the Chianti in 1992. In 2001 I bought an apartment in a little old farmhouse on the Felsina property. for the next 15 years, I visited and spent 2 to 3 months a year in that area. I have tasted many of the Chianti‘s of the area however you had more access in depth than I did. I do very much agree that.fontodi and ama among my favorites. However, there is much to offer all over the area. I have also eaten at lamole over the last 30 years. It has a spectacular view of the valley and the food is in incredible. In my opinion, the vino sfuzo or wine bulk wine is it true test of a winery. Further, when I go to restaurants in the area, I frequently taste that wine in order to figure out if they know what they’re doing. I also believe that a mixed grill Tuscany is a test of the kitchen kitchen Mille Grazie ted
I would also recommend the Chianti Classico Institute in Radda. my friend Andrea works there. It has a beautiful view of the wineries below Rada and a good kitchen.
Soloio is great
