What a wonderful episode. I really need to explore Tuscany a bit more. It looks so beautiful! I’ve been to the region before, but not to any small villages, and not for a very long time. So far this year I’ve been to Rome, Naples, and I just spent a few weeks up in the north east in Treviso and Vicenza and just loved it so much!

My dad passed on the 11th of September n I went home following his funeral…living a few thousand miles apart makes me relate to the love n connection you share with your dad, do treasure him n his brilliant take on life! Your dad is such a delightful man to just listen to speak – How could he not love your new home and location – it's gorgeous and much easier to get to than Positano. And, flights from the UK to there are so simple and quick. I did not know that bamboo grew in Italy, always have to be careful of their roots if ever planted right new one's property and home but that is an amazing new bit of knowledge to learn! 😊

Btw, that sofa, the castors, the ruched armrests, it's exactly like the very on trend ones in the furniture shops that are selling for anything between 1200 and 2500 pounds, amazing.
