Here are 3 levels of grilled cheese, you’re going to want to save the last recipe for later ⬇️
▪️Level 1: Basic Grilled Cheese
Industrial white bread toasted with some bottom-shelf cheese product.
It tastes like childhood but not in a good way. We can do better.
▪️Level 2: A Good Grilled Cheese
Spread some bakery rye bread with mayo and get it toasting in a pan. Top with Colby jack, provolone, and some good American cheese.
This is much better, but we can still kick it up a notch.
▪️Level 3: The Ultimate Grilled Cheese
Do yourself a favor and get some olive sourdough and thank me later. Spread a couple of pieces with some garlic aioli and put them in a pan to get toasty.
Into a food processor make some homemade pimento cheese using extra sharp yellow and white cheddar, cream cheese, sweet peppers, smoked paprika, and a clove of garlic. Pulse until creamy.
Add your pimento cheese and some fontina and Manchego cheese to your bread and assemble your perfect grilled cheese.
This is literally the greatest grilled cheese Ive had in my life. Save this recipe for later.
