Adam Richman Eats Four Iconic New York Pizza Styles | Pro Moves

In the series premiere of Pro Moves, host Adam Richman is on a mission to explore NYC’s legendary pizza scene. From the classic slice to the square Sicilian, Adam is eating his way through New York’s most iconic pizza styles, and giving you—the viewer!—the expert tips, tricks, and insider information needed to pick out the best pie no matter where you are. To help Adam on his quest, he’s teaming up with some of the city’s foremost pizza experts: self-professed pizza nerd Scott Wiener and Best Pizza’s Frank Pinello. Along with Frank and Scott, Adam will eat his way through four legendary pizzerias—from Luigi’s Pizza and L&B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn, to John’s of Bleecker Street and Una Pizza Napoletana in Manhattan.

  1. Coal Oven Pizza is also referred to as New Haven style. Pepe’s Pizza is the classic New Haven pizza. Their white clam pizza is iconic and needs to be popularized.

  2. If Adam has found a new home at FWF, I got no qualms about it.
If I'm picking my my top food guys, in no particular order, depending on the food. It's gonna be Bourdain, Zimmerman, and Richmond. Top 3 food poets. They can make you salivate by words alone.

  3. I also love places that don't clean their condiment bottles and shakers. Defeats the purpose of washing your hands before you eat. This is especially true for food you eat with your hands and teaches us that it is okay to eat other peoples nasty hand grime.

  4. I have never been to New York and some would say that I have never had a real slice of pizza however here in West Virginia we have a place called Gino's and I can't imagine pizza being as good as it is here.

  5. Nah L&B is overrated now. I grew up in Bensonhurst in early 2000s and yeah it was good pizza back then but lately every time Ive went it really wasnt that special. Too much dough in the slices now and less flavor imo. I dont want to be such a hater but for square id prefer Prince St in the city, especially the peperoni square there. The one thing Ill give L&B is the nostalgia and that feeling of community there since a lot of ppl still go.

  6. Adam Richman makes me smile. I hear his voice and immediately 😃 He has such a wonderful personality

  7. If I went to New York I would like go to all these places but I really would wanna go to Best Pizza first!🍕Frank Pinello!
