A luxurious villa of very ancient origins, among the most famous by Lake Maggiore, is for sale in the stunning town of Belgirate, on the border with Stresa.

Its exclusive position directly by the lake, its 1,700 sqm of internal surface divided between the main house and the outbuildings, the private beach connected directly by an underground passage and the pier for private use contribute to the uniqueness of this property that belonged to the family of Napoleon III.

Dating back to the early 19th century, the villa was built in a late neoclassical style on the walls of a previous religious building for Mathilde Laetitia Wilhelmine Bonaparte, daughter of Jerome, Napoleon’s younger brother. Subsequently passed into the ownership of the Russian prince Vladimir Andrevic Dolgorukij, the property was remodeled only at the end of the last century, while the big park that surrounds it has remained intact in its original design, conceived by Anatoly Demidov, husband of Mathilde and well-known enthusiast and builder of gardens, especially in Tuscany.

Its convenient natural location, in one of the towns of the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore, ensures an always pleasant microclimate, while its strategic exposure, slightly oblique to the coast, has been designed to improve the panoramic view from any internal environment, rooms included.

Many of its architectural elements refer to the style in which the building was built: the neoclassical. The design of the façade is also strongly neoclassical, in which the symmetry of simple and elegant lines prevails, interrupted by windows that illuminate the rooms on the ground floor and the upper one, offering a wonderful lake view.

In the large park of 1.3 hectares that surrounds it, a wonderful Italian garden opens towards the calm lake waters, which can be accessed from a private passage under the road, next to a splendid big swimming pool, complete with a dedicated sunbathing area. There is no shortage of spaces dedicated to parking, thanks to a garage for six cars and a long driveway that crosses the garden, connecting the access road to the entrance of this splendid estate.

I was sent in KGB managed orphanage’s network where the most of orphan houses of these network was located far away from cities and quite distantly from towns, I was sent in Soviet borderline republic of Georgia’s east region Kakheti Former Shuamta monastery complexes located orphanage, which also was under strict management from Moscow KGB Sixth Department. Soviet era was so many repressive families that autocratic government has necessities for repressive families minor aged people to create special orphanages network different from regular municipality managed towns orphanages. I was grew in the Georgia east Region forest located former Monastery complex of Shuamta. During my childhood I never have a new clothes because every time we have from government new clothes, it was taken by our guardians and we was always in the clumsy torn clothes. I had many epidemic infections and treatment was not even minimal. Many my roommates was died by the infections. Dying children was sent in “yellow room of orphanages far corner location where light never goes off and room had yellow churcoal painted horrible walls with bloody stains from many bloodsucking insects squishing on the wall. I was twice in this room and I remember my agonizing nights so vividly because night yellow light and fever, I survived twice. Our cynic guardians pushing us to collect for them eatable mushrooms and blackberries from torn filled bushes from surrounding forest. Every new years at 12:00am guardians awaked us to “give sweet wishes by giving to suck one lozenges caramel covered froot jam confetti. Every child this time and so I am have a dream to thes one confetti’s cowering caramel was broken in the our mouth during guardians giving to touch by lips and tong as like others have until caramel will be loosened until it became broken. I remember that one new years time this caramel was broken in the our friend Luba’s mouth and all staffing jam of the caramel covered confetti was taken by fortunate luba.! saw first time the most tasty sunny side up fried egg in the Janitors kitchen quite long time after I was adopted by the director of this regional orphanage network. My mom’s decision to adopt me cost for her job position and privileges from soviet government, and after my adoption we was sent in the rural areas for living far from any towns within only small stately apartment . Our family long times have not any sources to travel into large cities but I was the most happiest child because my mom was angel savior for me. Now I heard that my grandparents re connected with this property. How much is now this property now? Communists took from my family everything including main living Chateau and all manor Houses. I still have some warmest feeling about chateau living but I am only newly immigrated US Nurse with two toddler babies . My dream is to give my children secure life as I did with elder son who is Ophthalmologist Surgeon in Georgia and Holland. Eh, sorry I am going so long… but I want to find about my relatives more…. Sorry and thanks in advance.
