Homemade Cuttlefish Ink ‘Midnight’ Pasta


My first try at cuttlefish ink pasta from scratch. I used my normal flour & egg pasta recipes but blended 1 tbsp ink into the eggs before adding to the flour. The dough smelled briney in a really pleasant way. I incorporated half the batch into my favorite weeknight pasta recipe – Midnight Pasta from the NYT – and froze the other two nests.
