The wine production of this region is often underestimated, forgetting two authentic gems of Italian winemaking such as Franciacorta and Valtellina. Mompiano wines cannot boast the Franciacorta denomination as they are produced outside the area foreseen by the specification. This fact does not prevent us from producing extremely high quality sparkling wines with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes which are able to best express the character of the land from which they come
